The Mary Shelley Project

1816: the year with no Summer. As torrential rain and thunder storms bellow around the mountains of Switzerland, a young and ambitious Mary Shelley is inspired…

Join is in Bethesda Chapel as we delve into the destructive world of Mary, her lover Percy and step-sister Claire, as she wrestles to create her gothic thriller, Frankenstein.

Ambition, rebellion and love can only sustain them for so long, will Mary’s creation prove to be her triumph or her downfall?

This is a site-specific performance. Please dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes.
Tickets: ‘Pay what you decide’ (Suggested donation £5).
